The founder of SielpA Books. Hailing from Australia, Adrian brings over 25 years of English teaching experience in Japan to our team. His expertise spans across various educational levels, from kindergarten through to university. Adrian's extensive contributions to the field include over 70 academic works, 10 books, and more than 250 presentations at academic meetings. In 2016, he earned his PhD from Tohoku University, with his research concentrating on the flipped learning model and its impact on student engagement and performance. His current researcher focuses on language learning motivation, in particular language learning mindsets and the self-worth theory.
Mineyoshi Aoyama boasts over 25 years of experience in fostering global learning at various academic institutions throughout Japan. He specializes in developing study abroad programs, teacher training, and student recruitment. His leadership has revitalized schools and facilitated student progression to higher education. As the CEO of ATA Institute, he channels these experiences to support students' growth in partnership with educational institutions at home and abroad.

Jason Ford is an artist influenced by natural wonders and cultural depths, from his experiences with the Aboriginal culture and spirituality at Ayers Rock in his homeland of Australia to the deep blues in Hokusai’s “The Great Wave off Kanagawa.” He began painting seriously after experiencing the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, with his works—ranging from direct painting to cut-out stencil spray art—often exploring profound themes rooted in nature and humanity’s trials.(Instagram: jay.scott.artworks)
Ami Sasaki is an artist with a focus on self-portraiture in acrylics, recognized for design and exhibition successes both nationally and internationally. Key achievements include winning the Ajiro Prize in 2019 for a wine label sold through Tohoku's Co-op, holding a solo exhibition in 2020, representing Miyagi Prefecture in the 44th National High School General Cultural Festival's art and crafts section, participating in the M.A.D.S ART GALLERY "YELLOW" exhibition in Italy and Spain in 2022, winning a prize in the "Hatachi no Rinkaku" 2022, and studying abroad in France in 2023.
